  • 50’s Era Swimsuits- In the 1950’s rockabilly, americana, and tiki-inspired bathing suits were taking over women’s fashion with polka-dot print swimsuits, tropical print swimsuits, and nautical-themed swimsuits

  • 60’s Era Swimsuits- Bold floral prints took over women’s bathing suit fashion in the 1960’s, and swimsuits were being accessorized! Swimsuits with stylish belts, swimsuits with ruffle skirts, and swimsuits with psychedelic prints were considered to be at the height of fashion.

  • 70’s Era Swimsuits- Floral prints were stayin’ alive in the 1970’s era of women’s bathing suit fashion. Bikini tops and bikini bottoms were finally making the scene, and one-piece swimsuits with groovy cut-outs appeared during this era too!

  • 80’s Era Swimsuits- Animal print women’s bathing suits were very hip in the 1980’s. Leopard print swimsuits were particularly in vogue, Neon-hued bathing suits were always a good choice, as well as rainbow print swimsuits.
